Allergy
Finnish researchers found that breast-feeding mothers who consume foods high in vitamin C, may reduce the risk of allergy in their children. Higher concentration of vitamin C in breast milk is associated with reducing the risk of atopy in a group of 34 infants. For vitamin E there was no relationship with the development of allergy in this study, unlike previous research, where there were some positive effects against allergies reported.
